R/DECONSTRUCTION
This collection was thought during the healing process of the designer after a burn-out and it accompanied her through the way. The path of reconstructing oneself is not an easy one and it emerges from destroying an old version that is no longer good to us.
The designer’s thoughts:
« Layer by layer, I destroy coping mechanisms that once helped me but no longer do.
Stitches by stitches, I reconstruct myself, leaving scars that will remind me to never let myself go back.
Line by line, I accept healing is not a straight path, but a goofy one made of ups and downs so let’s enjoy the ride. »
R/DECONSTRUCTION highlights the need to break down some mental patterns in order to build some new and healthier ones.
